Where the money is lost
Seven in ten baskets are abandoned, and rarely because of price
The figure has been steady for years, both in Romania and abroad. What changes from store to store is the reason, and the reasons are almost always the same few: delivery costs that appear only at the last step, being forced to create an account in order to order, a form with fourteen fields, the missing preferred payment method, or simply a page that loads too slowly on a phone.
None of these have anything to do with how beautiful the store looks. All of them come down to concrete decisions in the order flow, and all of them can be measured and corrected.
That is why building a store does not start with design, but with the journey a person makes from the product page to order confirmation, and with what happens at every point where they might give up.
